XITO’s Fall 2025 Institute, hosted by Sonoma State University, is a 2-day opportunity to engage in and learn about decolonial and re-humanizing Ethnic Studies methodologies developed by the Xicanx Institute for Teaching & Organizing.
This institute is intended for students, educators, administrators, & community organizers interested in Ethnic Studies.
LOCATION
Sonoma State University - Student Center Ballrooms
SCHEDULE
The institute will take place on Friday, September 26 and Saturday, September 27. A detailed agenda will be shared with registered participants closer to the event.
REGISTRATION & FEES
The registration fee for this institute is $350 which also includes light breakfast and lunch on both days. Most participants seek funding from their educational institutions.*
Registration fees are due by September 5th. You can pay online here.

*Certificates of professional development hours completed can be obtained upon request.
